OUR UNIVERSE
Everything that exists makes up the universe, from the smallest particle to the biggest structures, whether on Earth or in space. Everything that is visible, much that is invisible; everything that is known and much that is unknown. One such phenomenon is the Black Hole.
A Black Hole is a region of space time from which nothing, not even light can escape. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass will deform space time to form a Black Hole. Around a Black Hole, there is a mathematically defined surface called an event horizon that marks the point of no return. It appears black because it absorbs light and reflects nothing, just a perfect black body in thermodynamic. Quantum Mechanics predicts that black hole emits radiation like a black body with finite temperature. This temperature is inversely proportional to the mass of the black hole, making it difficult to observe this radiation for black hole of stellar mass.

THINGS TO CONTROL – BRAGGING
Bragging is saying something boastfully. We see this almost every day, where, someone or the other tries to talk too good about themselves. Some people have the tendency to boast in order to impress and attract their friends and neighbours. No one actually likes a person who brags about himself. It creates a bad opinion and such behaviour causes annoyance, inconvenience and distress to others.
In order to stop bragging one should ponder in detail about its ill effects. We can as well write down the problems faced as a result of bragging, and the benefits gained by giving it up. This will serve as a motivating factor to be careful the next time!

THINGS TO CONTROL –GRUDGE

Flag day is observed on the 7th of December every year throughout our country, highlighting importance of our Armed forces and to remember their sacrifice and dedication. All great leaders and large number of general public participate in the celebrations. Homage is paid to the war heroes and departed soldiers who lost their lives for the security of our country in war memorials. Blood donation camps are organised in hospitals to make the general public know the importance of serving the soldiers who guard our nation from enemy attacks. As patriotic citizens we must contribute our share for our war heroes.

THINGS TO CONTROL –GRUDGE

The Nation-wide Non-Cooperation movement made the people of India resist the British rule non-violently. Gandhi said that Non-violence comes to us through doing good continually without the slightest expectation of return. But he felt that Purna Swaraj would never come unless it was fought for. Gandhi led a march to Dandi and broke the Salt Law. Peasants, tribals and women participated in large numbers in Salt Satyagraha and this combined struggle of Indian People bore fruit when the Government of India Act of 1935 prescribed Provincial Autonomy and elections were announced. The Congress formed governments in 7 out of 11 provinces.
When the second World War broke out, Congress leaders were ready to help the British provided they grant Independence after the war. The British however, refused to fulfil their demand. Gandhi then initiated the Quit India Movement in 12942 and requested Indians to participate in large numbers and fight non-violently. Many thousands were arrested and many injured.
In the mean time, the Muslim League had moved a resolution demanding “Independent States” for Muslims in the North western and Eastern areas of the country. The League did not want join hands with Congress to form a Government.
At the end of the war in 1945, the British opened negotiations between the Congress, Muslim League and themselves. The talks failed and paved way for fresh elections which were held in 1946, where Congress fetched a majority. This made the British in March 1946 to send a three member mission called the Cabinet Mission to decide the Political framework for a free India. But the mission was a failure, which led to the violence of thousands of people and spread to different parts of India. Partition of India thus became unavoidable.
India became independent on August 15th 1947. The Joy of our country’s Independence came mixed with pain and joy. It is up to us to maintain communal harmony and integrity which will make our country powerful. Jai Hind!
