Our founder President was ATHUR SRINIVASA IYER, a Congressman of the Nehru Era, an advanced farmer who was awarded the highest title for agriculture "KRISHI RATNA"he was very forward in his views and ideas and could easily relate to children of all age groups. At the same time he never compromised on the high ethical and moral standards he held. He loved change and implemented the use of advanced knowledge and technology in agriculture and was a great motivating force for every one associated with him. He was a also a great educationist connected with many Polytechnics and Schools in Tamilnadu. This year is very special as July 4th was his Hundredth Birthday.
